If I meet you at a party,

I’ll most likely forget your name a couple minutes (or even seconds) after you tell it to me.

Sometimes, when I introduce myself to people I won’t even bother to pay attention when they reply with what their name is. I just tell them my name is Oliver (or O.D.) and then when they say their name I just let it go through one ear and out the other.

I don’t know why, but I’m just like that.

There are only two times when I remember a person’s name.

1. When I talk to them more and realize that the person is actually pretty dope/interesting. Once I become aware that this is a person who I like, I usually say something along the lines of, “Oh btw, what’s your name again? My bad, I’m forgetful with names”. That way I could get the name again and remember this time. 
2. If it’s a girl who I think is hella cute. If I’m attracted the moment I meet her I’ll make sure to remember her name, so I could add her on FB afterwards if I already haven’t gotten her number. (But since I have a gf now, this part of the list is irrelevant).
