Drake calls Kreayshawn while she’s doing an interview (Start at the 1:53 mark of the video).
I love how Gucci Gucci only came out in May of this year, and in only a couple months Kreayshawn immediately gets nominated for an MTV VMA and becomes close with big names like Drake. I’ve never seen a female MC blow up so big in the mainstream in such a short amount of time like that. Even Nicki Minaj needed a couple years to blow up (although I’m not saying that Kreayshawn is better than her).
I’m excited for Drake to get featured on a Kreayshawn song if this really happens. Kreayshawn is officially the only rapper from the Bay doing it big right now and it’s funny because I feel like this is all just an accident for her. Just last year she was more focused on being a filmmaker/director than making music. Lol.

Lil Wayne’s protege vs. Jay-Z’s protege.
Everyone’s been comparing these two lately. So who’s better?
Here’s my opinion.
Drake is better than J. Cole when it comes to making love songs and music for the ladies. J.Cole is better than Drake when it comes to rapping about the streets and hardship. When it comes to lyricism, I feel that both rappers are equal, it’s just that a lot of guys out there are more likely to favor J.Cole more because of his raw street vibe on his tracks; J. Cole also raps more about “what’s real” whereas Drake just spits punchlines.
I really do think that people just hate on Drake because he’s some random suburban kid from Canada and that he used to be on Degrassi. Those haters use J.Cole as the answer to their “Drake problems”. For me, I like both. They each bring something unique to the table and I would love to hear them do a track together someday.
